WELCOME TEAM SINDIA 2014
This is our blog for all everyone going to South India next summer!
We hope to use this to share ideas about fundraising, keep you all up to date with the projects, training days and nights out for team building and other activities!
So first up is to give you some brief info on the south india project.
- It was set up in 2010, making it one of the newest UCDVO projects.
- It is based on a partnership with Care and Share, an international NGO

- Care and shares runs two Children's homes and schools that UCDVO are involved in
- Butterfly Hill is a home for mainly boys aged 4 -16, and is the home for kids with HIV/AIDS
- Daddy's home is a home for mainly girls aged 4 - 16 and baby's home

Our work in the homes involves teaching, organising youth clubs and workshops and after school activities
